Rosanne Cash hasn’t exactly had a “normal” life. The daughter of country legend Johnny Cash and his first wife, Vivian Liberto, Rosanne grew up in the shadow of fame. That makes it even more incredible, then, that she became a thoughtful and tender songwriter who writes songs that anyone with a heart can relate to. While she isn’t as famous as her daddy, she is every inch the songwriter and singer that he was, and she’ll be playing the Port Theatre on October 1. Don’t miss out!

When CCR took over the airwaves in the 60s and 70s, they completely changed the face of rock and roll. Fusing incendiary vocals with a driving country-rock style, John Fogarty’s electric songwriting and mile-wide riffs, CCR left a mark on rock and roll that we can still feel today.

As the lead singer of The Guess Who, Burton Cummings is Canadian rock royalty. The singer/songwriter behind such hits as “These Eyes,” “American Woman” and “No Sugar Tonight,” Cummings can sing and play the keys just as well as he tells exciting stories from the history of rock and roll. Catch him recounting the glory days of rock and playing the hits on October 14 at the Port Theatre!
