Nanaimo is an exciting place to be this March – that’s because we will play host to a pair of shows that have been touring the world to rave reviews everywhere! Plan a trip to Vancouver Island to check them out!

CELTIC ILLUSION

Combining the very best of stage magic and traditional Celtic step dancing, Celtic Illusion is half Riverdance and half the most astounding magic show you’ve ever seen! The show debuted in 2011 to great critical acclaim and has been touring the world ever since, drawing sold-out shows everywhere it goes. The dancing is incredible, featuring many pro dancers who have been featured in Riverdance and Lord of The Dance, and when mixed with the incredible spectacle of illusion it creates an ambiance of absolute magic. Don’t miss this spellbinding show when it hits the Port Theatre on March 1!

THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY

Simon & Garfunkel are one of music’s greatest duos. Combining Simon’s powerful songwriting with Garfunkel’s angelic voice and delicate arrangements with beautiful close harmonies Simon & Garfunkel captured the imagination of a generation before embarking on two successful solo careers… but still, one can’t help but reminisce about the music that they made together.

The Simon & Garfunkel Story is a powerful stage show that combines multi-media presentations of archival footage and live performance of the duos greatest hits. Recounting their rise from their early days as “Tom & Jerry” to their 1981 reunion concert in Central Park, this stage show captured audiences’ imaginations in London’s West End for years before embarking on a global tour. See it on March 5 at the Port Theatre!
