Nanaimo pulls together as a community during the holidays! Come experience holiday cheer on the Island this December.

HOLIDAY SEASON LIGHT TOUR

Maybe the best part of the holiday season is the lights. People really express their holiday cheer and creativity in December by dressing up their homes in gorgeous lights, decking the halls with boughs of holly.

Of course, not all houses are decorated equally, and the most impressive displays in a community sometimes seem like a well-kept secret. That’s unless you book a ride with Coastal Limo and Tour to see Nanaimo’s most dazzling holiday lights displays! It’s a fun way to see parts of Nanaimo you wouldn’t normally get to on a visit.

A BUDDY HOLLY CHRISTMAS

Zachary Stevenson, star of The Buddy Holly Story, is bringing his wonderful portrayal of the gone-too-soon rock and roller to a one-of-a-kind Christmas show, A Holly Jolly Christmas. Featuring Christmas classics performed in the styles of incredible entertainers like Holly, Elvis, and Brenda Lee, this will be one of the rare Christmas concerts that will make you groove in your seat. Catch it at Nanaimo’s historic Port Theatre on Dec 23!

THE NIGHT B4 THE NIGHT B4

Local musicians Elise Boulanger and Sarah Wood return with their beloved Christmas concert! These two gifted performers have been playing together for over ten years and year over year, you can see their incredible rapport and chemistry. Combining songs and stories that will fill your heart, this amazing show will take place at Nanaimo’s coolest concert space, The White Room, on December 23. Nanaimo’s best and brightest will all be there!

Want a great view of lights? The Best Western Dorchester Hotel’s harbour view is gorgeous at night and especially during the holiday season, reflecting brilliant lights across the water.
